Technical Regulation of the Customs Union 023/2011 "On juice products from fruit and vegetable"

"Technical regulation 023/2011 "On juice products from fruit and vegetable" 023/2011 was adopted by the CCU Decision No 882 on December 9, 2011, and came into force on July 1, 2013.

Scope of application

The Technical Regulation 023/2011 applies to juice products from fruit and vegetables released into circulation within the common customs territory of the EAEU.

The objects of this CU TR 023/2011 are the juice products:

  • Freshly-pressed juice;
  • reconstituted juice;
  • juice concentrate;
  • diffused juice;
  • fruit and (or) vegetable nectar;
  • fruit and (or) vegetable juice-containing drinks;
  • fruit and (or) vegetable puree;
  • flavouring fruit or vegetable substances;
  • fruit and (or) vegetable pulp.

This CU TR does not apply to fruit and (or) vegetable juice products made by citizens in house conditions, in personal subsidiary farms or the citizens who are engaged in gardening, truck farming and production processes, storages, transportations and utilizations of the juice products intended only for private consumption and which are not intended for release into the stream of commerce in the EAEU territory.


Confirmation of conformity

Assessment of conformity of fruit and (or) vegetable juice products with the requirements CU TR 023/2011 is conducted in accordance with the Technical Regulation of the Customs Union on food stuff safety in a form of:

  • Declaration of Conformity;
  • State registration;
  • State control (supervision).
